Natchez Trace Riding Stables is family owned and run by Darren Haman and his daughter in Middle Tennessee, just south of Nashville. We're small enough to deliver a personal horse riding experience and large enough to accommodate the best riders around.
We find that most of our customers come from Brentwood, Nashville, Green Hills, Belle Meade and the Franklin/Cool Springs areas. We are within 3 miles of the Natchez Trace Parkway and Highway 7 in the Fly community.
The Epitome of Middle Tennessee beauty, Natchez Trace Stables is nestled in rolling green hills and crystal clear springs. Our trails wind through the woods, across meadows, into Lick Creek and beyond. We offer the BEST horse riding experience available for beginners to expert riders. With calm and friendly horses, we have a beautiful animal to suit your preferences and they have fun doing their jobs!.
Our horseback riding guides are experienced and helpful. They are trained to ensure your safety and help you have a great time!.
The most popular ride with our guests is our 2 hour guided trail ride. This will give you the optimum time to take in the local scenery and enjoy yourselves. It's all about the experience with horses and nature.

Customers come from all over Middle Tennessee for everything from birthdays to popping the question!. Whatever your reason for a day immersed in nature's beauty, we'll work to make sure you have the very best experience possible.
Release Form: Click here to download release form. Fill-out and bring with you for your trail ride.
Attention: If you are bringing someone under the age of 18 years old, they MUST have a RELEASE FORM filled out and signed by a parent. If the parent will NOT be accompanying the child on the ride, a responsible adult may print off the Release Form (above link) and have parent of the child sign a Release Form along with a note giving permission to bring the child to Natchez Trace Riding Stable. (Note must include child's name, date of ride, that they are coming to Natchez Trace Riding Stables and who they are giving permission to bring the child out to ride).
We do not require anyone to wear a helmet. If you wish to wear a helmet, you are more than welcome to wear one. You may bring your own helmet/riding helmet, or borrow one of the stables. We recommend that if children have helmets, that they bring their own, as they fit them better.

Take I-40 West to Exit 172 (Dickson)
Take 46 South for 7 miles At this point, there is a Red Light where 46 turns into Hwy 7 South. Continue going straight for 10 more miles - ON Hwy 7 South. There will be a big sign on your right that says "Missionary Baptist Church". When you see this sign, turn Left on Clifton Scott Road. Turn Left at Stop sign. Go 1/4 mile and Stop where the pavement ends and turn Right into our driveway. YOU MADE IT!.
Take 96 West to the Natchez Trace Parkway. Get on the Natchez Trace Parkway and go South (towards Tupelo, MS.) Take the Natchez Trace Parkway down to mile marker 416 and you will see a sign for Hwy 7.
Hwy 7 is where you want to Exit The Natchez Trace Parkway. On Hwy 7, turn Right (North towards Dickson) Go 100 yards and take your first right on Gordon Lawrence Road. Go another 1.5 miles and bare left at the fork. Go another 1.5 miles and stop where the pavement ends. Turn Right into our driveway. YOU MADE IT!!.
